De-Clutter Your Energy

Are you done with feeling overwhelmed? Are you ready to step up and take massive action to live the life of purpose? Are you exhausted by your excuses? If you're overwhelmed your energy is cluttered!

When you're overwhelmed you end up missing out on the journey.

Take the time RIGHT NOW to sit down and write out your intention and your purpose!

For us, today is the first day of school. It's the best time for me to sit down and regroup my thoughts. I want to create a clear intention of how I want my life to be and how I want to shape my family's life. I look at the first day of school as:

The Second New Year!

Watching my kids grow so quickly is always bitter sweet. If my life is not set with intention, I will feel like I'll miss out. I don't want to be frazzled by our busy schedule. I want to embrace the busyness. If I'm not organized then I become stressed. Then I can't relax as things come and go so quickly. Now that summer is over I need to regroup. I'm sad it's over. But I heard something profound that helped me to snap out of my sad thoughts:

Don't cry because it's over...

Smile because it happened!

- That's my new motto.

You must be ready to recognize that your old ways are not propelling you forward.

The same behavior will yield the same results.

How do you know your direction if you don't sit down to write it out and create your purpose? Today I will sit down and write out my goals and purpose that I'd like to accomplish during this school year. The act of writing will create distance between my thoughts and actions. If it's written, I will most likely accomplish my goals.

  • I'm going to honor my calendar.

  • Honoring my calendar will help me be present with my family.

  • I'm going to commit to a Power Hour EVERYDAY.

  • I'm NOT going to be overwhelmed with busyness.

  • I will not waste time on social media.

  • I will not waste time on indecision.

  • I will follow my gut.

Just writing this blog made me feel so much better. What are your intentions and goals for this "Second New Year"?

Done is Better Than Perfect!

As Always,

Keep it Sweet and Neat,

Stephanie
