The REAL Reason I LOVE to Help Others Organize Their Lives

Happy Spring Everyone!

Lately I've been having moments pop up right in front of me that I can't ignore. The moment someone looks at me with thanks and says,
"I couldn't have done this without you!" Or
"Wow, that wasn't so bad (decluttering) I feel so much better! I can think clearly now!"
I want to share the REAL reason I love to help others get organized. For me, as I think for many other people, especially moms, I constantly reflect on how quickly life changes and steers us to new adventures and paths. As a mother I see it as my children grow and change, and find new interests in life. As my children grow, I reflect. Sometimes I still feel like a child trying to figure out what I want to do to make me happy (again, thank you Gretchen Rubin for inspiring HAPPINESS in my life). I can't help but think that my kids are not going to be under my roof for much longer! So, what it is that I want to do with my life aside from being a mom?
"Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will one day become your PROFESSION". - GABRIELLE BERNSTEIN
I have found helping others organize their lives to be so fulfilling. A task that I love to do, I get to share and help others. If it's helping someone clean out some cupboards and make decisions on what to do with their belongings and memories; organizing a home office; running an errand to fetch what is needed to get the job done; or redecorating a master bedroom to become a sanctuary at the end of the day. I love the connection with these women and I love the feeling that I have helped and made their lives a little less frazzled.
The constant in my life for the last 14 years has been helping others. I have helped other new mom's navigate motherhood when I started and formed a MOPS group at my church and ran it for 3 years; I tutored children after school (I used to be an elementary school teacher) to help them reach their goals (and helped the mom who couldn't quite make the connection to help their child with homework); I made our elementary school yearbook for 4 years that helped families have memories of their children's school years; I created a fun game for a rising School Foundation to bring people together- The Amazing Race in San Clemente- 3 years running (truly some REALLY great memories there!); taking a leadership role for 3 years as President of our Middle School Foundation to ignite families to raise the bar on our education and raised money to do so by organizing and hosting a fundraiser at my home. I brought all of those experiences in my life together to create a job that I love to do! Organizing people's homes/lives is what I LOVE! My reasons are:
Human Connection
Beginning a Project
Finishing a Project
Happy People
The project doesn't need to be grandiose. The project can be a simple 4 hours session that brings satisfaction to my client/friend. A day getting the job done side by side!
Let me know what I can do for you to help you make life less frazzled, finish up loose ends, get order into your daily life. I can get the things done that you don't want to do or that you don't want to do alone!
As Always...
Keep it Sweet and Neat,
